BILLY bookcase is a beloved icon that never goes out of style. By adding OXBERG panel/glass door to both display your personal things and hide away clutter, you can use BILLY in even more ways at home.

Adding a door to BILLY bookcase gives it both a new expression and new functions such as hiding and protecting what you store.
A panel/glass door provides dust-free storage and lets you hide or display things according to your needs.
Adjustable hinges allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.

Good to know
1 door will fit BILLY bookcase 40 cm and 2 doors will fit BILLY bookcase 80 cm.
Can be used on the corner unit only if the shelf next to it has no doors.
The door does not fit bookcases purchased in the spring of 2014 or earlier.
Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

Safety and compliance
Handle with care! A damaged edge or scratched surface can cause the glass to suddenly crack or break. Avoid bumps from the side - this is where the glass is most vulnerable.

Works with old billyAnonymous reviewerI was worried the new doors wouldn't work with the old billy bookcases I already had. However, I've been able to put an old oxberg door on a new billy and vice versa. I did this as already had handles on the doors and didn't want to have to fill holes and drill new ones. Hinges were fine and I had no issues levelling both doors. Only downfall is its such a shame they no longer do oak veneer and replaced with the plastic foil. Hope this helps those wanting doors for an old Billy. My Billy's are from 2023.

Also really appreciate that the instructions give clear details of how to adjust the door hinges when other companies assume you know so you have to search YouTube videos for information. Thank you Ikea. The only downside for me was that when removing the product stickers they took some of the paper foil off, luckily it is positioned on the inside bottom so is not visible.
