As I was using two legs to provide additional support for a workbench, I am concerned that the leg will not be strong enough to maintain the height selected and will slide down when loaded.

These adjustable legs are rubbishAnonymous reviewerThese adjustable legs are not up to IKEA's usual standard. They keep 'shrinking' down every time a little pressure is added to them. It is impossible to fix them to the required height and have them stay in place. I have had to replace them as the desk was sagging as a result. I would not recommend this product to any one.

Bit fiddle to set up, but doing their job well so far!Anonymous reviewerReally liked the idea of having adjustable legs on a teenage boy's desk. My only gripe is that setting the correct height on all legs was rather fiddly to ensure the desk is completely level. Just takes some tweaking to get used to how the legs twist-lock system works. We altered the height before we attached the legs to the desktop, but then had to turn it all upside down and tweak them again. But once they're done, they seem to be stable...so far, so good.
Nice idea, horrible designAnonymous reviewerIt's great that they're adjustable, but the twist mechanism they use is an absolute nightmare when you're trying to get all 4 legs the same length because they move position as you're twisting them. They also sometimes loosen themselves, so one corner of the desk drops. Definitely support more adjustable options, but they really need to have a lot of preset heights with a pin (like the way BILLY shelves work?) or something so you're not spending half your life trying and failing to get them to the same height.
