    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

delaminated after 1 monthAnonymous reviewerthe white sruface veneer delaminated after less than a month in my new bathroom. lacks the minimal water resistance that anyone should expect from a bathroom product really. the wash basit is only compatible with this cabinet only so Ikea do not have other alternatives if you are committed to this washbasin. 1

However, the cabinet doors in my new bathroom delaminated and peeled off just a month after installation. Now we are stuck with this cabinet because we chose a compatible basin. Ikea doesn't offer a better alternative, so I strongly recommend avoiding this product. Despite sending three emails and making two phone calls, I have yet to receive a response from customer service.1

Not the Best FitAnonymous reviewerAs with any 'fits all' units , it means they don't fit any without a bit of work. In my case the cut out for the basin was too narrow and a 10cm slot cut out had to be made in the shelf. So my complaint is It would have been good if more detailed dimensions were shown - like the size of the cut out and the fact the shelf is at a fixed height, and in my case got in the way. Also why put thread lock (blue paste) on the screws for the door handles, as it means to fit the door knob pliers have to be used to hold the handle while tightening the screw, which can damage the the handles' surface. I also doubt the plastic feet will last more than a few years. Would I buy another?.. No, but it'll do until I replace the bathroom next year.2

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
