A way better than the foam one.Anonymous reviewerI wasn't really very keen to buy this mattress as the foam one is classified as firm too and the reviews don't help, but it made a big difference and adds a good support for my back. I use this as a sofa and I sleep every night on it. If you want an upgrade from the foam one this is definitely worth it for the price. The first days was a bit more firm a nicer for my weight but after few months still giving a nice support.
Pocket springs break - UNSAFE!Anonymous reviewerThe pocket springs on this break making it unsafe and unusable - yet IKEA says it only has a 1 year guarantee! It’s very poor quality for the price, very disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
Perfect replacement for BeddingeAnonymous reviewerWe have an old Beddinge sofa bed and after about 12 years of daily use, the mattress was no longer very comfortable (it was fine for about 8 or 9 years). Rather than buying a whole new couch, we opted to get this Nyhamn mattress as a replacement and it fits perfectly on the Beddinge base frame. Have not yet tested it as a bed, but as a sofa it makes for a great replacement.
