Product details

Made for 6 people, but easily has room for more since the table does not have any legs at the corners.

Every table is unique, with varying grain pattern and natural colour shifts that are part of the charm of wood.

The furniture is made of acacia, a naturally durable and sturdy hardwood because of the high density of its wood fibres.

The top’s slats form a decorative herringbone pattern with small openings where rainwater can run down, without the risk of your cutlery falling in between.

Only recommended for outdoor use.

Acacia has a rich brown colour and distinctive grain pattern. It is highly durable, resistant to scratches and water, ideal for heavy-use. Acacia slightly darkens with age.

Possible to separate for recycling or energy recovery if available in your community.

The table may be combined with the timeless NORRMANSÖ or VASSHOLMEN chairs to make your outdoor space complete. Sold separately.

Care

The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly, not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary and to re-stain it on a regular basis.

Clean: With a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean and dry cloth.

Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking and moisture from penetrating into the wood we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.

Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.

For maintenance we recommend VÅRDA wood treatment oil.

Do not waste your money! Anonymous reviewerWe purchased this table end of July 2023, covered it up October and had it propped up at one end so that any rain water ran off it. We uncovered it at the start of April only to discover the stain had lifted randomly over the table! We can’t buy the stain to touch up as it is discontinued and IKEA are accepting no responsibility. Apparently our fault for not staining ‘once or twice a year’ - which is it?? It's now needing sanded down and the whole thing re-stained! Not the standards or service I expect from IKEA!! A very angry customer! 1

Poor quality - avoid at all costsAnonymous reviewerThe table is OK to put together, looks OK and is fairly sturdy at first. We covered the table for the winter, but noticed upon uncovering it that the wood had split and warped in a lot of places. We complained as it was less than a year old. However we were told that it was wear and tear because it had been in the sun. Apparently it cannot be left in the sun at any point otherwise it will start to fall apart, with the wood warping, splitting, and bits falling off. Not much use as an outside table if it cannot withstand any sunlight!1
