Doesn't work on iPhone 12 miniVerified ReviewerIt works really inconsistently. I regularly put my phone in the holder, it begins to charge, and then seconds later stops charging inexplicably. This is very annoying. When I remove my device a light at the top of the grey part flashes which I assume is related, but it is really unclear what this means.1

Despite looking amazing, it doesn't work properly ..Verified Reviewer.. with an iPhone 14 Pro and, I suspect, with any handset that, due to it's design, doesn't lie flat on the charger. The designers can't consider every handset design as that wouldn't be practical, but any handset that has raised surfaces, as the 14 Pro does around the camera lenses, prevents the phone from being in full contact with the charger and can't work properly. I assume this is the problem. This doesn't make the product poor in every case, just in the circumstances above. As with others, I live a fair distance from my nearest store so is impractical to return it.1

While my Google phone charges on this stand without issues, my iPhone does not. Despite my efforts to find the perfect charging location by removing the charging pad and putting it flat on the desk, it still won't charge. I also tried taking off the phone case. I've tried so many different USB chargers with it but it doesn't make a difference. The phone works fine with my non-IKEA wireless charger... Consider how to keep the charging lead tidy on your desk before purchase, it comes with a usb charging wire but no converter plug for the mains, so could be plugged into your PC or laptop with the right usb point. As the lead is quite long, it could make it look a bit cluttered without the right setup. My iPhone 13 charges intermittently on the stand, you have to be very careful when placing on there to ensure it’s charging. Quite a few times it showed as charging for the first 2 mins, then it wasn’t when I checked it again an hour later. Annoying for the price.3

Instead, it's 5W charge rate is slow in comparison to more reputable electronics brands available online.1
