Not as described in advert/picture on website or in storeAnonymous reviewerSo far my experience of IKEA has been mixed. The quality of furniture is hit and miss (mostly hit) and the issue I had ordering my furniture definitely has been mixed. Had a big issue with the Nordli double bedframe with headboard. In the online ikea website the mattress sits flush to the bed frame but in reality there is a 10cm space at the bottom of the frame and 2.5cm at the sides. So the advert is very misleading. After a huge amount of time with customer services and having to send in pictures of the issue(and a very unhelpful Web chat agent) I had to return my double mattress and pay the extra for the king-size mattress which fits the bottom of the bed frame but slightly overhangs the sides which is manageable just!.
Lovely bedAnonymous reviewerThis Nordli bed looks amazing. I’m so pleased with it I’ve bought another one. The drawers are so good for storing bedding, towels etc. I don’t need any further drawer storage in my room. I can’t recommend this bed enough. The small side storage is perfect for little bits and bobs. No side tables required. I’ve used small trays either side that can hold my things and act as a drawer. Maybe ikea could add these to their accessories.

One of the best quality of all ikea rangesAnonymous reviewerWe bought this bed for my son and he absolutely loves it. I realised after, it’s the same range as some storage drawers I have from 10 years ago. The nordli range is strong and good quality. Much better than malm.
So we love the bed, very happy with it and want to buy another for my other son but the anthracite is no longer available. I hope they bring it back as he doesn’t want the white. The dark colour definitely looks more expensive. The only negative is having to Mount the headboard to the wall. I wish it could just be bolted to the bed frame. Also the mattress options are limited in the 140x200 size. I bought the foam mattress which is ok but needs a topper. Ikea no longer sell the European size in the UK. I guess they are slowly abandoning the European bed sizes. Its a pain for sheets but I much prefer the 200 length than the 190. I found a great 140x200 topper on Amazon, it was the gel infused memory foam by panda, highly recommend. His bed is now so comfy.

Nordli BedAnonymous reviewerNot a bad bed frame, complete with anti slam draws, three per side. The headboard (which is surprisingly heavy) attaches to the wall, I recommend investing in some decent wall fixings, especially if you have a plasterboard wall.
Not goodAnonymous reviewerMattress slides off. Everyday you keep adjusting it. Those metal shelving units completely don't match this design makes it looking cheap yet super overpriced. Unused space under mattress unless you keep taking it off to access it. Annoying design
Great looking & practical bedAnonymous reviewerLove the Nordli, it’s stylish simplicity and the headboard with shelves is great for a modern look. Tons of room in the drawers, which are smooth to open and close. Took 2 of us about 3 hours to assemble & the drawers are quite fiddly. I wish they made one wider than 160cm, I’d definitely buy it.

I built the frame by myself, instructions are clear and easy to follow. My other half helped me with the headboard. So please with the about of storage, soft close door and headboard.
I like itAnonymous reviewerThe bed is amazing, if your bedroom is small and you don’t have a space to fit wardrobes and you need a clear space on the sides of the bed this is the solution for you, large 6 storages under the bed for your clothes safe your space in the room! It’s take me to assembly that bed around 3-4 hours by myself! Clear and step by step instructions. Definitely recommend!
Lots of storage and space saving headboardAnonymous reviewerVery happy with this frame and headboard, we have a standard double mattress on the bed at the moment and it's great to sleep on, will upgrade to the European double which is a little bigger like the frame one day... We love the headboard as you don't need bedside tables anymore and gives the room a more spacious feeling, also the storage drawers are excellent. The only downside is the new furniture smell which took a month to either die down or we got used to it.
