Product details

You can create a room divider by attaching one of the shorter sides of the wardrobe to the wall.

This wardrobe is open yet it creates privacy thanks to a fixed wall on one side and a sliding door on the other.

Slide the door open to access your hanging clothes from either side of the wardrobe.

Slide the door to the other side to access your belongings on the shelves. Why not use the shelves to display some of your favourite objects?

Good to know

The clothes rail holds about 10-12 shirts on hangers.

One shelf holds about 20 pairs of folded trousers or 40 T-shirts.

One shelf holds about 1-2 pair of shoes.

Attach any of the short sides to the wall or attach the long side that does not have the sliding door.

The instructions are easy to follow but I had trouble getting the bits to fit as I'd it somehow back to front or something it was a bit of a brain scratcher I tell you but now I've it up it's so stylish! Solid and interesting designAnonymous reviewerI've got to agree with other reviewers here that this is not the easiest set of Ikea instructions to follow. It takes time to work out exactly what the instructions are trying to show you in terms of holes and orientation. Once the initial couple of pages are out of the way it becomes easier to complete. Some simple stickers on the pieces or larger drawings in the instructions would really help. Once built it's a solid piece of furniture and looks really nice in the room. I would have liked to have two sliding doors so that both sections could be covered, or a version with more hanging space. 4

I consider myself an Ikea-pro, but we got almost to the end and then realised we were missing some holes due to assembling some of the slatted shelves back to front. A pain to take apart again, but it is what it is, we got there in the end! Good value for money, just pay attention when assembling! PS - Sockerbit 38x51x30 plastic storage bins fit perfectly, and the sage green colour fit the decor in the bedroom as well.4
Love the finished product Anonymous reviewerAs others mention, it takes some time to decipher the instructions despite having ample IKEA assembly experience. If the smaller slatted pieces were simply labelled this would save lots of head scratching. Top tip- identify these and the rest is straightforward. Once assembled the finished product looks fantastic and has received loads of positive comments. Excellent value for money. 4

What is bamboo?

Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
