Good storage, ok constructionAnonymous reviewerEasy to put together and has great storage, but the drawer has nothing stopping it from pulling all the way out or pushing out the back. I used to expect better construction from IKEA with respect to adding rollers and a track for drawers but it feels like they have cheaped out even further here.
So nice I bought twoAnonymous reviewerNice simple design, got a pair, one for each side of the bed. Slightly higher overall than the bed so things don’t get knocked off the top with a shelf at eye level below to save overcrowding the top.
Versatile beside / side tableAnonymous reviewerReally versatile. I originally bought this to use as a side table in my living room, as needed something higher than most. Although IKEA don't sell a glass topper for it, the top seems to be a size commonly used for glass worktop protectors so it's easy to find glass tops for it online to protect it from drinks being set on it.
After revamping my living room I now use this as a beside table, the top is just the right height for a lamp and clock.
Wherever it's used the multiple layers of storage keep everything tidy. The open shelf under the top holds all the stuff that would otherwise be cluttering up the top - TV remotes, phone, Kindle. The drawer holds all the odds and ends - pens, handcream, lip balm, medications. And that still leaves you another shelf on the bottom for magazines, slippers, etc. The drawer can pull out in either direction, so all storage is accessible from both sides which could be useful for kids if space is tight as it could be shared between two beds.

Great purchaseAnonymous reviewerLove my new bedside tables. They were easy to assemble. Was a bit flummoxed when I realised the drawers had no stops and pushed in and out both ways but it is great to be able to load extension cables and plugs in at the back of the drawers with great ease. I don’t think about it now. The units look very stylish. My one slight problem is that I wish they came with glass tops as I worry about marking them with hot cups of coffee. I will be having some glass tops made for them soon.

Perfect size and easy to assembleAnonymous reviewerHave been looking for a new bedside cabinet for ages - in particular one that was 'open' rather than a square box, to allow for better air flow around the room. This is ideal. It's the right height for my bed, the drawer is big enough for my needs, and there are two shelves for books and magazines. It was easy to assemble and took about 20 minutes (I'm not DIY-minded.)
Great bedside tableAnonymous reviewerThis is a fine bedside table. I like that it's bamboo because it's an eco friendly timber. The only drawback is that there is no stop at the back of the drawer so if you push it in it will go right through the back. I might put some sort of stopper at the back of the drawer. Functional & Stylish Table For Any Room. Anonymous reviewerSimple but stylish, we love the Nordkisa table. We got a pair & they work perfectly as nightstands in our flat. They provide more than enough room between the shelves & roomy drawer for everything. In our case, we use as nightstands and they’re perfect for anything you might wish to keep near your bedside. The drawer is comfortably deep enough to be used for clothing - my husband keeps pjs, sweats and socks in his. Electronics on the bottom and he has whatever recent thing he’s got going on on the upper shelf so it’s handy. This keeps the top of the table clear and tidy with just a lamp, photo and a trinket dish. My side is much the same. The drawer has a handy dip in the back to allow for a charging cable to pass through so we can charge devices while in the drawer if we choose as well. Clever. Can easily be used in a living room space as well. Highly functional piece. Excellent design features. Recommend for anyone for any room. I’d buy more if we get a larger flat in future.

What is bamboo?
Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years.
