The natural solid wood is beautiful as it is or you can make it more personal by staining, painting or waxing it. Also, the bed frame is high enough so you can place storage boxes underneath.

The hard-wearing solid pine has natural variations in grain, colour and texture, giving every piece a unique look.

If you oil, wax, lacquer or stain the untreated solid wood surface it will be more durable and easy to care for.

There’s plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes - perfect for storing extra duvets and pillows.

You can easily vacuum under the bed frame to keep the space clean and dust-free.

Slatted bed base, mattress and bedlinen are sold separately.

Combine this bed frame with a slatted bed base with a max. thickness of 4 cm to keep the slats hidden in the frame. The slats of a higher bed base may be visible along the sides of the bed.

Perfect for a childAnonymous reviewerUnlike other reviews, I had no problems with this bed squeaking. My daughter has slept in it soundly. I’ve also slept in it with her on occasion to help her fall asleep. For the price, I have no complaints! Easy to assemble and there’s storage space underneath. With it being plain pine, it can also be painted or varnished. Great bed!5

Neiden single bedAnonymous reviewerReally good sturdy bed frame only downside is that there were multiple parts for the head and base of the bed. The instructions are not very clear to be able to follow and considering I see myself as a “self assembly pro” and can usually figure it out relatively easily. Took around 15 minutes of having to figure it out for myself by trying different pieces in different places until I got it right.5
SqueakyAnonymous reviewerBed doesn’t come with slats so make sure you buy those too and when I put it together it squeaks when you move on the mattress. I think it’s the slats that squeak, might but a sheet over them to see if that helps. Not impressed2

Recently I was looking at changing furniture in my room and to be honest the bed is the only thing I'm not changing. If you are looking for a cheaper bed, you need to buy slats with this one, so another may be more suitable. But yeah! All in all this bed is great :D5

Bed frameAnonymous reviewerThe bed was easy to put together but the only thing was that I was not told that I needed to buy the slats as an extra,as they don't come in the box with the bed. I did ask a member of staff before picking the bed up if I just needed the one box and he said yes that's correct2
DisappointedAnonymous reviewerI found similar products on the website, but I chose the cheaper one since they seemed the same. After I had purchased the above item and brought it home to build. Half way through the process of building it, I realised there were no slatts... I then had to take a second visit to IKEA and purchase the slatts.. When I looked halfway through the page, there was the warning about there being no slatts included. The warnings should be more visible and maybe a pop-up informing the customer. Unfortunately, this was not a great visit to IKEA for me.1
