“We designed a frame that looks like a square with small legs,” explains Anders. It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

Care
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: With a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean and dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking and moisture from penetrating into the wood we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
To increase the stability of your furniture, re-tighten the screws at least once per season.

Too low as a table to use with modular sofaAnonymous reviewerThe modular sofa system is good, but using the same module for a seat and for a coffee table doesn’t quite work. It feels too low in proportion to the seats when used as a coffee table. Also, having one module used as a low table doesn’t feel quite wide/ big enough to go with a sofa. But equally, too wide if you have two low tables paired with a sofa or corner sofa - since it’s as wide as the sofa, it’s tight to move around it. This range really needs a well proportioned table to go with its sofas- one that’s a little higher and a little narrower than the accompanying sofa.
I’ve only just bought this to use as a 2 and 3 seater sofas with coffee table. It seems quite sturdy. The metal joiners are much more prominent than shown- which detracts from the look when there’s no cushions when not in use.
The rain seems to pool on the surface and another reviewer is probably right to advise painting it straight away with another coat as I don’t want to look at ugly covers when it’s not in use
