This table seats 4-6 and it’s small, neat dimensions make it easy to place, even when space is limited.

The centred table legs allow more space for chairs along the short sides of the table – a traditional feature often found in the Shaker-style tables.

Each table has a unique expression since it is made of solid acacia, a natural material with lively colour shifts and grain patterns that ages gracefully over time.

Designed for a perfect match with NACKANÄS chairs. SKOGSBO, EBBALYCKE and BERGMUND chairs are also good matches with different style expressions.

Sturdy and looks good for the price.Anonymous reviewerJust finished assembling this. The finish is darker than the image shown here and the top is split into two sections along the length separated by 5mm spacers, these are not noticeable but it's a slightly odd design... Maybe to get away with making a single large top. I tried to leave out the spacers but the dowels are too long for the two sections to meet, after which I just put together as intended. Very sturdy and not too taxing to put together, it's worth noting that it's a bit easier to tighten things up so they just "bite" and then once it's all together fully tighten. This helps all the bits reposition to where they want to be without stressing anything. There was a slight dent in the lower brace but you can't see it and all the parts were present. Overall a lovely table that matches my mantis mango wood furniture.5

Quality

A unique expression that ages with grace

Strong, comfortable and beautiful is one way you could describe the NACKANÄS collection. It’s made from acacia – a durable wood mostly used in outdoor furniture because of its durable properties and high density wood fibers, but here indoors. And instead of throwing parts of the tree trunk away as others do, we combined the lighter trunk with darker parts of the tree. The result is a blend that gives each piece of furniture a unique expression. The acacia ages gracefully and when needed, it is possible to sand it down to refresh the expression and make it look like new!

"Our inspiration for the NACKANÄS series comes from the Shaker style philosophy - simple, practical and unadorned, without compromising on beauty. We love the chair with its woven seat - a comfy and attractive feature often seen in Shaker designs. We also like the centred table legs which give more space for chairs along the sides. Add to this the beautiful acacia wood which gives each furniture piece a unique expression and will age gracefully in your home."
