I'd have given it 5 stars but within a month it had been knocked against a wall and the shades shattered, there was glass everywhere. It wasn't even a hard knock so they do seem to be particularly fragile despite the thickness of the glass.
They have part numbers so I hoped to be able to buy replacements but unfortunately that's not the case. Such a waste as the lamp is otherwise new. While I was at customer services someone else was returning one, also with shattered shades. Maybe that's what I should have done.

Is heavy and solid. The only downside is you can’t dim the bottom light because the bulb isn’t a smart bulb, it’s G9. But love it otherwise!

Despite the minor technical gripes, the functionality is excellent. At £70, the value is indisputable; I would easily have paid significantly more for this from a boutique brand.
Raffaella Mangiarotti has produced a stunning piece that I have no doubt will become an IKEA icon. The use of solid oak is particularly impressive—a material choice that is generally unheard of for the brand.
