Sturdy desk with cable management Anonymous reviewerThis desk was straightforward to assemble, is stable in use and seems good quality. I awarded only 4 stars because I think the design has a couple of shortcomings. First, the cable management system, which overall is good, provides for cables to emerge through a covered ‘slot’ in the rear centre of the desk - just where you would probably wish to site a monitor on its stand. In my case, I have the monitor sitting forward of this, thereby reducing the depth of desk space available. I also feel the monitor is now a too close for comfort. You could avoid this issue by wall-mounting the monitor of course, or maybe you use a laptop in which case this won’t be a bother for you.
Secondly, if you also buy the Koppla 3-way socket - which fits very neatly in its designated slot - be aware that you will lose the use of this slot for pens and pencils etc. Ideally, I would have preferred an additional slot so both uses could be enjoyed. That said, I don’t regret my purchase!4
