Ok for toddlers Anonymous reviewerI purchased this bed a few months ago for my 2 1/2 year old, I also bought the extending memory foam mattress that Ikea suggests to go with it when it comes to extending the bed. I think the bed is only secure on the smallest setting due to the places where to bolt it securely, as I extended the bed to see if it would be better option for her to sleep in as a full single bed? There is no placement to bolt it together making it not secure and also the two attachments for the mattress to put down do not fit there is only space for one attachment of the mattress, leaving a gap at the bottom of the bed also it’s impossible to make the bed with the covers with the end extension of the mattress popping up, so I think it’s great as a toddler bed which when my child grows I’ll have to buy a normal single bed and a new mattress

My toddler is very disappointed and I just want a refund and get a better bed so she can sleep in her room.

It’s perfect for her and will grow as she does. My advice to would-be buyers is make sure you have an extra pair of hands available when you’re assembling the frame. It’s so much easier with 2 of you.

Perfect bed for a 2 year oldAnonymous reviewerIt looks really cute in his bedroom, and is perfect for transitioning from cot to bed as there is still some side support as well as it being quite low to the ground, so even if he did fall out it wasn't too traumatic for him. furthermore the fact you can extend the bed is great, as its not overwhelmingly large for him when he first got the bed, and its practical for when he inevitably gets larger.
