A clean and simple look that fits just about anywhere. You can combine it with other desks or drawer units in the MICKE series to extend your work space. The clever design at the back hides messy cables.

Product details

It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

You can mount the storage unit to the right or left, according to your space or preference.

Air ventilates effectively around your computer or other equipment because of an opening in the back panel.

Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.

You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height.

You can adjust the shelves to fit different things, and adjust them again whenever you need to. Adjustable shelves help you use your space more efficiently.

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Safety and compliance

When completed with an add-on unit, the whole combination must be placed against a wall to avoid the risk of tipping.Maximum evenly distributed weight is 50 kg. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 15 kg on a small surface on the desk.This desk has been tested for domestic use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

A really nice desk, good cupboard and drawer space and makes an excellent computer desk.Anonymous reviewerEasy to put together, with the expected iterative adjustments to the door, which are achievable signgle-handedly. My child has this as a computer desk, with Bleckberget chair, which fits well being height-adjustable and is as comfortable and stury for him as it is for me. The cable hole and conduit underneath are great - there being sufficient cut out beneath the desktop at each end of the conduit to pass through reasonably bulky power supplies without having to take desk parts apart or move away from the wall. The cupboard with internal drawers side can be fitted at either end of the desk and the instructions are clear. There is plenty of desk room for a 24" monitor, flexible lamp, keyboard, mouse, etc., with space left over, plus there is an optional upright, add-on shelving unit.5

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.

"My idea with the MICKE series was to simplify everything we do with our computers and mobile phones in today's high-tech world. Like keeping in touch with friends, downloading films and music, working or printing out tickets. The goal was to create a real dream product with maximum functions in a minimum space. One smart thing is the built-in cable management, so you can hide away all the cables. Another is that all the parts have the same depth and height so everyone can create their own favourite combination."
