Product details

You can keep your desk clear of paper by writing your notes on the magnetic board on the back panel. Or fastening your to-do lists there with a magnet.

You can adjust the shelves to fit different things, and adjust them again whenever you need to. Adjustable shelves help you use your space more efficiently.

It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

You can mount the legs to the right or left, according to your space or preference.

You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height.

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Loose items could be better identified as it was a bit of a guess from some of the diagrams. The layout is intelligently designed and provides good shelving and electric cable training. Extremely limiting 65cm gap for chairsAnonymous reviewerIf you love gaming/big office chairs, this desk is not for you. It limits your choice of chairs to Ikea's, or, if you want to buy from another store, you must follow very strict, specific measurements: rising armrests to be able to sit closer to the desk and/or width not exceeding 65cm. My new office/gaming chair is 67cm wide, which is already quite narrow for its kind, but of course it's not going into 65cm gap. It's also pushed back by the curved aperture of the desk, meaning I can never get close enough while seated and end up hunching, which became the main reason why I must replace it now. With that said, it's my fault for not thinking ahead. Hope my case helps someone make a rational purchase. There is a ton of space, though. Easily accommodates a printer on top and two storage units below without your feet hitting against them. It also creates great acoustics inside of the 'chamber' when you turn on music on your laptop or speaker and move it into the corner.3

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.

Like keeping in touch with friends, downloading films and music, working or printing out tickets. The goal was to create a real dream product with maximum functions in a minimum space. One smart thing is the built-in cable management, so you can hide away all the cables. Another is that all the parts have the same depth and height so everyone can create their own favourite combination."
