3 drawer unitAnonymous reviewerPurchased two base units with 3 drawers. Popped bottom drawer in first thought it sat too high. Sat with cuppa flicking through instructions again, penny dropped bottom runner sits on bottom 2 rows of holes easily rectified. In the end its a nice sturdy unit, drawers all square and nicely lined up. Instructions could do with a tweak. Once the main body is built the instructions could do with a page of all the different set ups stating which page to go to next. It would make it easier to navigate/understand.
Drawer nightmareAnonymous reviewerEvery other unit has gone according to plan, okay there was the odd issue following different designs I.e. supposed to turn pages but got there in the end. Certainly not the same with the 3 drawer unit, followed what instructions there was but have now mover runners 3 times. I wish I had looked at these reviews earlier. Back to the drawing board 😢
Solution: drawers don't fitAnonymous reviewerFor those of you who struggled to make the bottom drawer not overlap the top drawer, the front of the bottom drawer needs to be on the bottom two holes, not on the top two holes like the top drawers. There is a drawing explaining this on page 14. Good luck!
Do not fitAnonymous reviewerThe drawers do not fit within the frame. The bottom drawer blocks the runner above from opening.
Challenging drawersAnonymous reviewerIf you order this in the format shown, deep bottom drawer and two shallow drawers they will not fit if you follow the instructions. The deep drawer need to have the grub screws put into the two lower holes not the top two holes, same for the guard rail securing points, then the larger draw will lower allowing the two top drawers to be aligned correctly so that they don’t above the top of the cabinet.
Once this worked out all was good and a very good product, just the instructions need to be amended

Drawer runners don’t fit for the three drawers Anonymous reviewerIt comes with an instruction as to where you fit the drawer runners for multiple drawers, but it doesn’t show you where you fit for the three drawers
After pulling them in the holes that I could fit them into The top drawer is above the cabinets by half an inch
I’m now going to have to spend more time today in trying to fit them the best way that I can .
Very poor design or lack of information, which is it IKEA not a product I would buy again
In fact, my whole IKEA experience over the last few years has been awful

HappyAnonymous reviewerActually bought 2 drawer units - one 4 drawer, one 2 drawer. Didn't buy a 3 drawer. All drawers fit and operate smoothly. Good bit of self assembly required, but that is expected with IKEA products. It's important to follow instructions closely as bottom drawer is assembled different to those above.

Small but noticeable improvement on faktum my old kitchen which explains why Ikea kitchens are a bit more pricey but very good value and quality compared to the other big companies whatever your grumpy builder claims. Definitely definitely put the runners on the side panels before assembling. Drawers very easy to assemble.
