Drawer Runner IssuesAnonymous reviewerThe instructions for the fitting of the runners on the cabinet do not align, with what is required to fit in the correct place. I fitted lowest drawer then used real world methods to fit correctly.3
Excellent drawerAnonymous reviewerI've had these in for a year now. I went a bit drawer mad and got 20 in the kitchen and not one has skipped a beat yet, still working perfectly. I believe they are blum fixtures so I'm not surprised.
Building them took a little getting used to but once I'd done the first one they got easier and quicker. I coupled these with the lights also which also work really well, I even put them on cupboard doors too which again works well. I did buy some of the bits to go inside for stacking plates, cuttlery etc and it does finish the kitchen nicely. All in all very pleased5
Drawer to assembleAnonymous reviewerOunce you master the first drawer the rest come easy, soft shut and fits nicely in the units, great for the lower half of the cupboard5

No longer a quality productAnonymous reviewerI am appalled at how shoddy the Maximera drawers have become since I last used them (2015). The ones I installed yesterday are noisy, rough to pull out, difficult to adjust and generally feel cheap and flimsy. One wouldn’t close properly – an issue eventually traced to a faulty runner. In 2015, these drawers felt solid, and ran smoothly, quietly, with a quality feel.
None of this is surprising, since many of the parts, once metal, are now plastic. The plastic clip that grabs the drawer runner so the damper can pull it in, runs in a plastic groove. Plastic sliding on plastic binds and squeaks, contributing to the cheap, erratic feel. I’ve sprayed them with silicone lubricant, hoping for improvement. Worse are the brackets connecting the drawer to the front panel - once metal, but now plastic, with plastic adjustment screws. Yesterday, instead of a PH2 screwdriver I used a PZ2 by mistake, which badly burred a screw, making future adjustments difficult.
Never again.1
