MATILDA sheer curtains in pale pink have delicate stripes infused with bubbly stitching to up the charm. The fabric lets light pass through and awards privacy. The multi header is suitable for rod or rail.

Product details

The sheer fabric diffuses daylight and softens glare on TV/screens. You are connected to the world outside and feel a sense of privacy during the day. Ideal for layered solutions with curtains or blinds.

The 250 cm length is ideal if you want to hang the curtain above the window for a casual look.

The fabric in recycled polyester is easy-care and retains its colours ‒ wash after wash.

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

Using gliders and hooks usually creates a more formal and dressed-up feel, where hardware is not visible.

The heading tape makes it easy for you to create pleats using RIKTIG curtain hooks.

Choose from different lengths, widths and colours to adapt to different window sizes and to create a coordinated look throughout your home.

The sheer curtains let the daylight through but provide privacy so they are perfect to use in a layered window solution.

In the daytime, people outdoors can perceive shapes and silhouettes indoors. At night, when the room is lit, people outdoors can see in.

Suitable for combining with room darkening or block-out curtains or roller blinds when you want to limit or block out light entering the room.

Since the fabric will shrink when washing it is a good idea to wash the curtains prior to cutting/hemming.

You can use SY iron-on hemming strip to shorten the curtains without sewing.

16 gliders and hooks are usually recommended for each curtain with a width of 145 cm. You can increase or decrease the number depending on whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats.

These Matilda curtains are 100% cotton and the perfect weight. I prewashed them as I’d read about their shrinkage and that is just to be expected with cotton. Hanging them was easy. The way they move is gorgeous and the quality is first class. I’ve since bought more for other rooms. There is a slight slub in the fabric which gives it a linen look. Love them!5
Lovely sheer cotton curtainsAnonymous reviewerWe bought these for French doors leading into a conservatory so don't need heavy curtains there but just wanted to soften the look. After reading reviews on here I have washed a couple of times on a cool wash and they have shrunk slightly, about 2 cm. That's fine for us as I will still need to shorten but avoids them being too short if washing after shortening. They look amazing and fresh. We tend to leave them open but look good drawn also. Haven't had them long enough to see if they will keep out the sun in the summer. Very happy with them, excellent value for money and would recommend.5

Fine cotton ...Anonymous reviewerI have had many pairs of these curtains, I use them as covers for shelving units as well. Personally, I would prefer them plain, rather than the lines and dots, but these are one of the few fine, pure cotton curtains available and they work well. But be warned, don't make the mistake I made and turn them up before you've washed them because they do shrink, as Ikeas warns that they will, but I underestimated how much it would be (about 15cm), consequently, here I am buying two more pairs!4
