Great looks but questionable qualityAnonymous reviewerI have 2 of these chairs, bought relatively recently, one at the beginning of the year and another about 5 months later. They look fantastic in my office and the initial comfort was great for a tall person like myself (6'3), constantly having upper back pains due to long hours at my desk in rather smaller and uncomfortable chairs. The issue with them (i.e. Markus chairs) is that after less than half a year the cushions started being quite flat such that I can feel the base of the seat with my bottom. Also, the whole seating base on one of them got wobbly, also after less than half a year of usage and I'm not that heavy (~100kg).
Other annoyances with this chairs were quality control issues, like chips or dents on the armrests or star base and uneven arm pads or cushions.
It's a shame about the Markus chair as it has an unbeatable price, and for me, the initial comfort was much much better than the stupidly expensive Herman Miller Embody Gaming chair, which costs 10x more!

No lumbar or neck supportAnonymous reviewerI like the style, light design, so it doesn't feel heavy and bulky in the environment. But there's no lumbar support, though, the spine curves slightly so after some time I feel pain. The head rest is high, so no support to the neck, which is tensed because the headrest pushes the top of the head slighlty forward. Basically, as you sit, there'll be a slight convex curve from the bottom of the spine all the way to the top of the head. I'm using a lumbar support cushion for chairs, which is a half-moon shaped foam cushion that attaches to the chair with an elastic band, which takes care of the lumber support issue.2

Great chair - But those arm rests!Anonymous reviewerGreat chair, comfortable and mostly does the job. Easy to set up and has great ventilation for your back with a removable cover you can wash. However, spend any time with your arms on the arm rests and it becomes irritating to the point of becoming painful. No real padding and the surface is a friction rubber. Considering this is an Ikea product I would have expected this issue to have been discovered. I'll need to find a solution as these wont do!3
