I was expecting betterAnonymous reviewerIt's large and sturdy, good quality I suppose. Also, it looks good. But I have to say it's disappointing as it's too sharp from the edges. Every time I sit on the table to eat, my arms hurt, especially my 6 year old complaining so much. I honestly expected more from Ikea, could have had softer edges. Good in theory, but it doesn't work well. I didn't return it, as its so much hassle, especially we paid someone to put it together. We spent so much money for this table.2

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded.
