Lovely white wood and strong openingMandy rudkinBed did take a bit of time to arrive, and for hubby to put together, but it is straight forward the bed is the strongest ottaman we have had and mechanisms are strong my daughter opens and closes with no problems, it looks amazing along with the malm dressing table bedside and chest draws, would recommend, if I had to moan there are 4 large holes on inside of headboard but you can not see when the mattress is on, but would of been nice to of Had 4 round bits to hide them, but my daughters room looks lovely5

Huge storage definitely a biggest plusN SharmaWe bought a King size, and it did take a while to put together, not the most straight forward assemblies. To make matters worse a few screws were uneven which made it a tricky build. Once put together, it was good and the storage is huge which is the biggest plus. The frame lifts unevenly when opening the storage - right comes up first, then the left. However it closes/sits down okay. The headboard and the way it is fit makes it feel like it would snap if we leaned with our full weight.3

So much space!Kay99Having previously owned an ottoman bed IKEA was my place to go for a replacement. The Malm Ottoman has so much space! I was able to fit the whole contents of my previous ottoman in half the Malm one. The finish is nice and the colour (white) doesn’t make the bed dominate the room. I was also able to build it myself in a day, although 2 people would have made it a lot quicker.5
Does the jobLisa and CreweFeels a bit rickety when lifting frame up but sits into place once down. The bit of strap to pull bed up could do with improvement as it’s hard to keep hold of it to release the top when it has a mattress on. Once released you can lift with the metal bar.4
