Lots of space, pleased with purchaseAnonymous reviewerPleased with this chest of drawers. The dark grey matches the dark grey pax wardrobe and looks great in the bedroom. A piece got damaged during assembly but Ikea replaced the piece with no hassle as part of the family card benefit.
The drawers are roomy.
The only issue for me is you can see where the grey doesn't go all the way round the side panel. Its not a huge deal but could have been more considered.

Stiff drawerAnonymous reviewerThis is 2nd or 3rd set of Malm chest of drawers we have purchased over the years. Parts well packet and instructions are easy to follow and we are very happy with the end product. Reason for the 4 stars is in both chest of drawers we found the top right hand drawer is a bit tight to open and close. Left one runs smoothly as do all the others
but the right hand top one feels like it is too tight for the space in the cabinet.

Timeless piece of bedroom furnitureAnonymous reviewerThe malm bedroom furniture is absolutely timeless , but over the years the design has changed slightly , they are made to be even more child safe friendly with better anchor points to secure to wall to stop “ toppling over “ and the feel more sturdier than the very original model . Although the price has risen a bit , th safety and tough build has improved also.

What is particleboard?
