Sofabed great not so customer servicesAnonymous reviewerThis is a fantastic sofa bed. However unfortunately the spring got broken which makes it hard to close. IKEA absolutely refuse to simply replace the spring despite all their claims on the website of supplying spares. We are happy to pay for this. To be fair they will replace the frame and spring together BUT only if we dismantle the whole bed which we cannot do as we are pensioners. A relative who was staying put the frame together for us. The sofa bed will not come out of the room unless it is dismantled and we do not want to pay for this. We simply need a new spring posting to us. We really cannot understand their stance on this and so regrettably have had to give up on this. As we said a pity as the sofa bed is otherwise good, just VERY difficult to put away without the spring.

This sofa-bed fitted the bill exactly, and we’re very happy with our purchase. Delivery was prompt, and the assembly fairly straightforward. It’s neat and comfortable both for sitting and sleeping.
The only confusing thing when choosing was the different prices for apparently the same item, until we realised that the difference was the type of mattress included!

rubbish frameAnonymous reviewerthis all broke down within few months without being used much as now they use plastic hinges. what is worse, we went into IKEA store in Croydon trying to get the hinges and the customer service there was being funny saying we have to call IKEA to send someone over from quality control. loads of BS when they had the hinges in store and they confirmed they had it but not willing to give the spare parts without the old hinges. they think handymen are coming for free to take the hinges down so i can bring them in store and then, pay someone again, to fit the new ones, plus the time going to the store and back for something that didn't last 8 months and been used 4 times. what an absolute waste of time and money. please avoid and spend your money somewhere else as the guarantee doesnt mean anything. after spending 2hrs in store, half an hour on the phone with customer service, i was told they will send it by post in 10 working days and sleep on floor. amazing and v helpful!

Good sofa bed but cover could be betterAnonymous reviewerThis sofa bed is just the right size for my small spare room and was easy to put together myself. Some of the bolts were a little tricky to tighten properly with the tools provided. Comfy enough as a sofa and I will add a mattress topper when used as a bed. Easy to convert. My main issue is that the cream cover comes VERY creased and was difficult to iron sufficiently. The panels of fabric are a little bit puckered at some of the seams so impossible to get all creases out. I've seen the grey version which looks alot better in person due to the extra stitching, it would be nice to have more colours available in this design. I'm hoping IKEA releases more covers in the future as the sofa bed itself is good but I'd like the opportunity to update it.

We made sure that the wheels were facing out, we checked every step. However, the sofa bed does not stay flat. We tried to find the right click, nothing worked. I would like to return this - awful design. I would have given it less than a star if I could.
