Bad untested design if that is the case.
To address other replies from Ikea - no the screws are not loose, yes the slats are aligned correctly, yes we have used the stoppers...
So now what? My child needs their sleep(!) but the bed was 339 in total and the rest is fine... there are also other reviews talking about this squeak1
