Lommarp CabinetAnonymous reviewerThe Lommarp Cabinet looks beautiful once built but there were a few issues when building. The door hinges were awkward to get the screws into place and the door hinge adjustments weren't noted until the last page of the instructions. Step 34 we had to skip as there was no screws provided in any of the accessory bags (but the screw didn't have an identification number so we assumed it was an optional step). Step 50 and 51 I would suggest screwing in the two screws first then add the drawer panel (step 45) and then attach the back of the drawer (step 47 & 48).3
Lommarp Anonymous reviewerThis unit looks lovely and was easy to build other than the door hinges weren't lying flush against the unit. There are screws to adjust the doors which doesn't state this til the back of the instruction booklet. Step 34 shows 2 screw were needed but these aren't provided in the bags of accessories, so we assumed it was an optional step so we skipped it. Some screws are hard to fix into place especially step 51 as a screwsdriver can't properly turn so I'd advise doing step 51 before step 45 for ease of screwing in the support bracket under the drawer.3

Yes you can always ‘up cycle’ IKEA furniture, but this one stands out as a nice piece in itself. The pieces were all there, the instructions were easy to follow ( as all IKEA items are ) , … no hassles, no drama, … built in 45mins, and then it was filled in ten !! 5

Smart item but some build and finish issuesAnonymous reviewerI managed to build this cabinet by myself, but I'd like to point out the following to any prospective purchasers: Step 21 in the instructions - do not try to attach the side panels and shelf to the base as shown. It's much easier, and safer, to lay the base on its back and slide the panels into place. Otherwise it would be easy to damage the joints between the panels and the shelf! Step 33 - when fastening the drawer runners, use a magnetic screwdriver and prop the runner up by about 5mm at the back, otherwise you will be cursing! Step 39 - make sure that you attach a soft close hinge to the top of each door. There are only 2 of these hinges, and IMO the instructions don't clarify this properly. Finally, you need 2 people to lift one of the 3 boxes this is supplied in.4
