If I had to suggest an add-on floor protectors on the ends of the legs would be a good idea I purchased some gliders and it made all the difference.5

The white finish is a satin matt which looks amazing but we suspect may not be too practical in the face of kids' sticky fingers and spaghetti rolling off the edge of the table. The black finish is more glossy and in my opinion looks cheap, whereas the white does not. The bolts in the backrest are very noticeable from behind the chair screaming "flatpack!" across the kitchen at any passer-by but they hold the chair solidly and there is no movement when I plonk my 90kgs down to eat. It is comfortable for me to sit on, but may not be for shorter people due to the hard, flat, seating surface.4
