OK, he likes walking on the mat as well as playing with the vehicles, but he isn't 2yo yet so any play is good play. I like the fact that the mat uses no place names for the areas around the roads so can be used anywhere in the world and for someone who doesn't read yet. An excellent addition to anyone's toy box.5
