The active nature of it is subtle, but constant.
The ability to change the height is great for different people.
Love the spin so that can do computer keyboard on one side of room and piano keyboard on the other wihtout moving the Lidkullen (yes it's a small room!)5

It has a heavy base which is good and the lever to higher and lower goes all the way round so your not fumbling around to try and find the lever as with other stools and chairs. I would recommend even at full price.5
