The height extension is a clever addition to a tall LASTARE frame, height 200 cm, if you want to create extra storage space up high – perfect for seasonal clothes or items you don’t use often.
Doors and hinges are included.
A narrow door takes up less room when opened, which is perfect in tight spaces – for example between a wardrobe and a bed or in a hallway.

You attach to the top holes on the wardrobe/ unit. Had to adjust doors when assembled, that was finicky. I had to higher my wardrobe one end, that solved it. Make sure your wardrobe is level and firm then any adjustments should be at the minimum (I thought it was). Some of the screw holes puckered, when fitting screw.
I think Ikea's materials are not as dence as they used to be. Ill be suprised if this wardrobe lasts 3 house moves and 20 years, as my last Ikea wardrobe did. Wood glue used for my peace of mind. But Im happy with the purchase and with my handles, looks good.
