Easy to put together and very sturdyAnonymous reviewerI'm not sure why other people have commented about it not being of a high quality, it's the same as all the other products. It goes together easily, feels very robust and looks really good. It'd be good if it was a bit clearer that you need to buy handles for it too, but apart from that, great price5
Disappointing qualityAnonymous reviewerI purchased two sets of LÅSTARE drawers and was quite disappointed with the overall quality. While assembling one of the sets, I found faults with several of the pieces, despite the product being brand new. I decided to return the second set because, based on the quality of the first one, I wasn’t confident that I would be happy with it either. I’ve always associated IKEA with good value for money and reasonably reliable quality, so it was disappointing to spend the time and effort travelling to IKEA, purchasing the furniture, and then assembling it only to encounter problems with the parts. The design itself is fine, but the quality of the product was not what I expected from IKEA. Hopefully the faulty parts can be replaced, but overall, I’m not satisfied with this purchase.1

Bought as a substitute for MALMAnonymous reviewerIkea recommended these drawers as a substitute for the MALM drawers which I have always bought. I understand they were not going to be a perfect substitute but the whole structure is very flimsy and the drawers are not very deep. I have a feeling I will have to replace these drawers within a year, which is most definitely not ideal. Quite unfortunate seeing as I bought these drawers to replace a MALM set which lasted for 12 years.2
Complicated to assembleAnonymous reviewerThe chest of drawers look good but it is the most difficult furniture from IKEA that I have assembled. 3 heavy bricks and a pulley system? Instructions need to be made much clearer and screws sorted for easier identification. Would not buy another one because of complicated assembly. 3
Great design, build not so muchAnonymous reviewerThere’s a gap .. built to precision just an odd OCD gap under the first draw but could not be bothered to faff & return .. disappointing but living with it3
