Product details

LÅNGUDDEN inset sink is slightly deeper at the back edge, so you can place things like washing-up detergent and a dish-washing brush on the steel edge instead of on your worktop.

Sink in stainless steel, a hygienic, strong and durable material that's easy to keep clean.

Under the sink is a sound-absorbing material which reduces resonances in the metal when using the sink, thus lowering the sound level.

When stainless steel is new, it is natural that the first scratches are visible. They become less visible over time as the material is used and gets a more matte tone.

Care

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Always wipe and rub the sink along the steel grain when cleaning.

Wipe clean with a soft cloth dampened in water and a mild non-abrasive washing-up detergent or soap, if necessary.

Do not use scouring-powder, steel wool, hard or sharp tools which can scratch the stainless steel surface.

The delivery was also easy and quick. The sink is nicely constructed and came in perfect condition. Relatively easy to install, however I am from an older generation and would prefer a few more instructions. I can do pictures but sometimes woukd be nice to have a few hints in words. Altogether I am extremely happy with my purchase and IKEA. This is the second one I have fitted. 5

This is an ancillary sink that has had only light use yet it has scratched very easily and is now rapidly corroding. I don't seem able to supply pictures with this review which is disappointing. We have had the worktop cut specifically for this sink. We have had the sink plumbed in. What will Ikea do about this problem, may I ask? Provide us with a better sink, but of a different size that won't fit the cut? Provide us with an exact replacement that may have the same problem? What is the solution? We have bought a great deal from Ikea over the years, including an entire kitchen in a previous house. The qauality seems to be in decline, yet the prices aren't.1

As the waste assembly is cumbersome and fickle and isn’t compatible with standard UK pipe sizes we didn’t purchase them, ( there is an option to do this with a cost saving ) and bought basket waste assembly’s from plumbers merchants instead. Found sinks to be excellent quality, and well made with a built in sink to worktop seal, and extremely well priced.5
Poor quality and terrible instructionsAnonymous reviewerFirst the instructions, very poor quality, not written very well, insufficient detail. The waste pipe system is very Heath Robinson, at one point you are asked to bash out and end with a screwdriver, why this wasn’t removed during production I don’t understand. The washing machine waste pipe feed in is in totally the wrong place. The quality of the stainless steel is poor it’s very thin and several sharp edges had been left.2
