Damaged goods, rubbish customer service.Anonymous reviewerI ordered two LANESUND sideboards from IKEA which turned up this this morning as arranged. Imagine my dismay after spending £900 to find that BOTH the tops were damaged. I called customer services and explained the problem and as one was damaged at the back and out of site I was offered tho option of a replacement or a partial refund if I wished to keep it. the refund was perfectly acceptable. The other one however is damaged on the front top edge and needs replacing. The guy I spoke to put me on hold for a few minutes whilst he sorted out a replacement but when he came back to me he said there were none in stock and they may have some next month if I phoned! This was not good enough especially as I will likely not be in the country at that time and I pointed out that several other stores were showing them in stock but his reply was that they would not send me one and I would have to wait. That was it full stop. Is this IKEAS idea of customer service. It's an absolute disgrace and I would like to know what they would say if I ordered from them and said send the goods and I'll pay you in a months time. This is the first and last time I will ever order from them and would advise anyone to shop elsewhere. Customer service is a joke.

The drawls don’t have actual draw slides; just wood on wood. The doors are wonky and the suggestions in the manual on how to fix them cause the whole sideboard to become wonky. It’s either wonky doors or wonky whole thing.
The glass doors have no soft close and when you open them, they swing into each other. Won’t be long until a glass door breaks.
Drawers are also very shallow and not deep enough to keep anything useful in. Terrible product and won’t be buying again.
