Lid is a screw on and stays on securely at all times straw could be made of a softer material instead of the steel type but overall a very good product to have for a gamer very pleased.
Not InsulatedAnonymous reviewerI will warn you straight up this is not an insulated cup. I bought it to replace my old insulated cup that would happily keep my drinks cold for a goot 6+ hours... My juice has been in this for an hour and its nearly room temperature.
The cup volume is measured to the rim, not to the bottom of the screw threads so you cannot fill it up with an entire 500ml can/bottle without drinking some to make it fit.
The straw is sharp and a bit too narrow to get an enjoyable drinking experience.
How Ikea could improve this item:
Larger capacity 550ml/560ml to allow the top to fit while retaining all 500ml of liquid.
Straw as little wider and with either a bezel or a silicon tip.
Better insulation, because this has none, noone wants a warm drink, especially when the cup isnt big enough to add ice.

There are several billion gamers in the world, but it’s not a uniform group of people – the diversity is big, with different cultures, ages, educational levels and incomes. “We want to make it possible to adapt the gaming station to your taste and your needs, no matter where you come from, if you live on your own, or together with someone else,” explains Sofia. “The products should fit with all other things people have in their homes. It’s our way to democratise the good gaming experience – for both gamers and the ones that don’t play.”
