Luxury made our way. We used resilient foam filling for comfort, thick grain leather on the contact areas – because it looks amazing, and durable coated fabric elsewhere to keep the price down.

Contact areas with soft, dyed-through 1.2 mm thick grain leather that is supple and smooth to the touch.

Removable armrests make it easy to add on a chaise longue.

Seat cushions filled with high-resilience foam and polyester fibre wadding provide great seating comfort.

The outer surfaces are covered in a durable coated fabric with the same look and feel as leather.

You can place the chaise longue section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.

    Grain leather is treated with a light protective surface coating to retain its natural look with marks, wrinkles and colour variations. Therefore it´s also less resistant to sunlight, dirt, liquids and scratches than leather with a thick surface treatmen

    The seat cushions, back cushions and inside, top, front of the armrests are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have the coated fabric BOMSTAD.

    Care

    Clean with a duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

    Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

    Protect from direct sunlight to prevent drying-out.

  • The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Coated fabric peelingAnonymous reviewerWithin a few short years the coated fabric, which is used for the back of the sofa starts peeling. One side is against a wall but the other is not. It’s not a high traffic area. We thought when we purchased it that the whole sofa was leather. The coating is less than a millimetre thick and white so is quite glaring. We have just noticed that the coated fabric and leather is not covered under the guarantee (not something that was pointed out when we purchased it despite talking to a staff member about it. It also feels like it has sunken and not as comfortable. It looks great but I personally expected much more for the price. I wouldn’t buy it again. 2

What are leathers, skins and hides?

Leathers, skins and hides are durable, hardwearing materials that we strive to produce as responsibly as possible. That’s why we only use by-products from the food industry and we have requirements for traceability to slaughterhouses, thereby ensuring ethically correct slaughters.
