Do not BUYAnonymous reviewerDrawers are cut incorrectly as last commenter said. That means the drawer lining comes up too far at the back so you can't slot the back of the drawer on. This leads to broken mdf trying to slot it into place. I managed to get one drawer finished after a massive struggle and now it won't fit into the unit. Awful. Avoid.
Disappointing Anonymous reviewerUnfortunately, I have to give this desk a very negative review. Even though it looks quite nice visually, the overall quality is extremely disappointing.
The biggest issue was the drawers — the grooves for the side panels were cut incorrectly, making it impossible to assemble them in the standard way. My husband had to cut and adjust the parts himself using a drill, otherwise the drawers simply wouldn’t fit together. For a product from IKEA, this is completely unacceptable.
On top of that, the desktop arrived damaged, with dents and marks as if no one had checked it before packing. The finish is poor and feels rushed.
My home is full of IKEA furniture, many pieces are 6–10 years old and still look great. Sadly, it’s obvious that the current products no longer meet the same standard. This desk may look fine at first glance, but the workmanship is far below expectations.

Garbage InstructionsAnonymous reviewerThis consists of two units plus a table top, but the instructions deal with the two units in a way that is supposed to describe how to use them in the various optional ways individually. Because of this, the instructions end up being two steps forward and one step back. If the units are bought as an entire package, as these were, then the instructions should be for the same. Additionally, they weren’t even very clear which way up certain parts were supposed to be, as one of them can be inverted for a different use. Anyone who relies solely on the instructions instead of applying their own logic, will fail to build this entire unit.
Once completed, it is very good, it’s just that a short job was made far, far longer because of poor instructions.
My wife chose this as a sewing workstation. If she chooses another from IKEA, I certainly will not be wasting my time trying to make sense of poor instructions. They might have well been written in Mandarin.
Absolutely love this deskAnonymous reviewerI absolutely love this desk and I don’t have anything bad to say! It’s built really well, looks expensive but was really well priced and I’ve got so much room and storage for my things, it’s fantastic!!
I feel like the cabinet with door Alex unit could have a pre-cut hole for wires to go through as I think it’s designed to be for a computer, but it was easy enough for us to do ourselves with a drill piece. Otherwise no comments :)
PerfectAnonymous reviewerThis desk is well made, spacious and modern, bought this for my daughters smallish bedroom so it needed to be multi functional and it’s perfect, it’s used for university work, arts and crafts, eating at and makeup, art stuff stored in the cupboard side and makeup and hair products stored in the drawers, I bought an extra set of the drawers to store uni work, stationary and charging wires in, it’s crisp white with clean lines making it very modern and on trend for a young adult or anyone really looking for a clean crisp minimal but multi functional style, it’s also extremely easy to build and very well made, I had it delivered which was perfect I was kept updated with the delivery process throughout the dispatch process too and the price is a snip don’t hesitate it’s the second one I’ve bought I moved house and wanted all new crisp furniture for her as I’d had her old one 10 years so yes they last a long time too

I was looking for. 2m deskAnonymous reviewerThis fits perfectly in my box bedroom which we have convert to a home office.
I have draws on one side to contain my pens and stationary and the other side I have a cupboard which houses the printer paper. I have two jobs with two laptops. So I essentially have two work stations on this desk. There’s room for an additional monitor and printer too. The draws move a little stiffly but I’m not in and out of the draws that often that it bothers me. I’m over all very happy with my recent purchases from Ikea.

Good size deskAnonymous reviewerPole in the middle is a pain but you get used to it. Could be more easily accessible to assemble as it was awkward to the extent that we gave up with some fixings. Also assembly instructions referred to multiple desks so had to keep flicking back and forth.
