Care

The best way to extend the life of your outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.

Clean: With a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean and dry cloth.

Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.

Lid gathers water - concerned about rust long termAnonymous reviewerLid has a ridge - gathers water and in turn dust and other bits of outdoor debris. Seems to be a fundamental flaw and I’m concerned about rust in the lid over time. I use it to store two outdoor sofa covers - lots of space inside. Lid is painted or powder coated metal so probably don’t rest it on its edge if you store it. 3

My only niggle is the channel around the circumference of the lid; it fills with water when it rains and isn’t easy to empty due to the weight of the lid. 4

I have to keep tipping it to clear rain water and you’d be surprised how much! Nearly a bucket after heavy rainfall. It’s great for storing seat cushions in. 3
Great stylish item Anonymous reviewerBought this to go with the skarpo chairs of which it coordinates very well with. Good generous size. Heavy lid so hopefully won’t blow away on a windy day. Ridge might collect rain water but hasn’t rained yet so not sure how it will do. Collection from the Warrington warehouse wasn’t very clear. Signage in the business park and a clearer map would help as took several wrong turns. 5
