Good sized binAnonymous reviewerI like the shape and it's a good size, but rather unstable as it's so light. Tips forward when press pedal until fair amount of waste inside.3
KnocklaAnonymous reviewerAbsolutely love this bin and I got the double sided one as well. I definitely recommend these.5
KnocklaAnonymous reviewerBought this and it’s great even though I thought it was a little expensive. I would definitely recommend this product 5
Rubbish binAnonymous reviewerIt OK. But not what I was expecting 3
Worth the price Anonymous reviewerFor a bin it’s not bad at all. Dual refuse compartments allows for the separation of waste and easy to lift out and empty. 5
A bit flimsy Anonymous reviewerIts a bit flimsy really. It is a bit wobbly when you press the pedal to open.3
Great bin, but can't find bags that fitAnonymous reviewerThis is a great bin; it has a soft close lid and the shape means it does not stick out. BUT I cannot find bags to fit. We bought 50L (the size of the bin) but they are not wide enough. We then tried 90L and bigger, but none fit across the width as it's oblong rather than round or square. We have to use huge dustbin sacks which are bulky. I hoped Ikea would sell bags to fit but they do not :(3
Good Size Rubbish Bin.Anonymous reviewerThis bin is so much better than a cylinder shaped bin we had previously. The litre capacity is the same but this bin takes in much more of the rubbish and fits into kitchen space much better.5
It's a binAnonymous reviewerGood bin5
Basic but functionalAnonymous reviewerInformation required as to the size of the rubbish bag that stretches around the opening. 70lts is required.4
Rubbish bin Anonymous reviewerIKEA should discontinue this product. Like many other reviewers, my Knockla bin broke shortly after the guarantee expired. The pedal just snapped off, so I now have a useless pile of plastic to throw away. A waste of money and not at all sustainable. IKEA, please test your products properly. They shouldn't break so easily. 1
Good bin but liner issuesAnonymous reviewerWe bought the large 50l bin.
Pros: holds a lot, large aperture makes it easy to put stuff in.
Cons: large aperture makes it difficult to find bin liners. The perimeter is around 144cm, making many 50l bags too small to fit. Check your sizing!4
Great binAnonymous reviewerNice colour, shape and size. The pedal works well. Holds a lot of rubbish. Very good value, 5
Pedal broke just after one year of guaranteeAnonymous reviewerFantastic bin but pedal broke just after one year of guarantee so ikea did not cover the defect. £37 is quite a lot for a bin that lasts only a year. Now I have to get a new one.5
Integral double binAnonymous reviewerThis bin works very well: it is kind of slim-lined, so it doesn't take up a lot of room in the confined space it is in. It is very handy to have the double-compartment, as I am into segregating my rubbish. The pedal works well too. I'm very happy with it and glad that I purchased it.5
Breaks in a year and a halfAnonymous reviewerPedal will break in a year and a half. This is something you need to consider upon purchase. Other people already report this in other reviews.2
Just what I was looking forAnonymous reviewerA nice little bin that fits well in my limited kitchen space.
The only downside is that the product sticker on the front of the bin was hard to remove cleanly without use of sticky-stuff-remover.5
BriliantAnonymous reviewerVery useful bin for general waste, the frame that holds the bag is an advantage. I matched it with the small bin from the same range. Easy to assemble. 5
Brilliant Anonymous reviewerExtremely useful compartments (two bins inside) to separate food from paper and plastic waste for recycling. The size is perfect as well for daily fill/empty. Easy to assemble and good quality. 5
