Versatile containerAnonymous reviewerI keep buying these handy containers because they are so useful. We keep toys, games, logs, over-winter plants, apples, potatoes and goodness knows what else. They stack well. Easy to assemble but a small drill is helpful to open up the many screw holes (which are just a pin-mark) and speed up the insertion of small screws without splitting any wood.5

Terrible new designAnonymous reviewerI’ve been buying these crates for years and have loved them. I’ve used them for everything from books, blankets to food. However, the new design is terrible. The tiniest screws are fiddly, I’m struggling to insert them properly and it seems no screwdriver is small enough even though I have tried every size! Not the usual high standards or simple designs one has come to expect from Ikea. A real shame.1

Wish I read the reviews... bring back the previous designAnonymous reviewerI hastily added a couple of these to my order without realising the design had been altered and definitely poorly. These now have half the wood supporting the corners. The new way to construct these is 24 tiny fiddly little screws going into the same corner posts as the pre-made sides that don't line up with the holes. I love the one we already have which I put on castors and I wanted two more to match to stack on top. But now they have a load of screws down the front and look different from the original. I am also disappointed that they are not as strong and less supported when stacked. I am with all the other reviewers that say bring back the original. 2
