Great that it comes with a lid as you can keep your fresh goods fresh without drying out, like bacon, eggs, cheese. Alternatively use without the lid to store jars, condiments etc. If needed, straight from the fridge to the table for condiments. Could fit others uses in other cupboards to, foe example your baking cupboard. Great for storing pens and pencils lying dow n but can be seen as it's transparent. Many uses as large as your imagination5
