There is a large storage space within the the footstool for blankets and such. The footstool is sturdy enough to have an average sized person use it as a sitting spot. It aligns perfectly with the sofa so that you can stretch your legs out. It was delivered because of the size, but was very easy to assemble. The fabric color is pleasant and the quality is high. Overall, this is a nice addition to the sofa that we purchased with it.5

Loads of storageAnonymous reviewerVery large footstool,great for adding on to the end of my sofa to make a chaise lounge section. Lots of storage room. Freakishly heavy, though, especially the lid section, so I added hinges to make it more usable day to day. Also replaced the feet with castors, which makes it much easier to manoeuvre. I found it reduced in price in the Bargain Corner, so very happy! Take your time getting the cover on, it makes all the difference to how the finished article looks.5
