Very comfyAnonymous reviewerI felt that I had to write a review due to reading some reviews saying the Kivik is hard and uncomfortable. I have owned this for 9 years and it has kept its shape and looks like new due to having washable covers. The reason the cushions have kept its shape is because it’s firm which we find very comfortable. If this had soft cushions, I don’t think it would last almost 10 years as seat cushions would have lost its shape and they would be sunken in. I thoroughly recommend this sofa and feel it would last another 10 years.

PreferencesAnonymous reviewerTo someone who has back problems, I find this sofa very comfortable. It’s on the firm side (which is perfect for me) and doesn’t eat you when you sit down. Read some reviews here that they hate it but took a gamble anyway and so far no regerets! Throw in a cushion for more back support.
Great SofaAnonymous reviewerOrdered on line after visiting the store and trying it out. Delivery straight forward and reasonably priced the two guy were brilliant. It came in three large boxes very easy to put together I managed to put it together by myself . Really pleased with the quality and comfort .Also purchased the footstool it has a lot of storage space.
Off gassing smellAnonymous reviewerReally like this sofa but 4 months on, still have an issue with the ‘off gassing’ smell from the sofa. Would welcome advice from IKEA on how to rid the couch of this.
Utter disappointmentAnonymous reviewerNothing protecting the sofa or covers, just delivered in a box which sadly meant there was slight damage to the sofa frame. Rock hard and nothing like the one on display in the shop in terms of comfort. Pocket springs????? Where exactly are they ? Sadly this sofa will be rehomed

Solid and comfortableAnonymous reviewerOnce the sofa was delivered it was an easy enough job for my daughter in law and I to assemble it. It is a very solid and stable construction. once it was assembled and all the cushions and covers were on in fitted just fine in its designated spot. The sofa is extremely comfortable and it feels sturdy enough to last for decades. It is also large enough to fall asleep on, stretched out and snoring (me, not the sofa). If the KIVIK sofa came in a two seater version we would definitely buy another one to go with this one.

came out smart and respectable! I found the instructions lacked orientation detail and could provide a lot more help. The covering material is fiddly to stretch over but achievable with help. I would recommend two people attempting assembly . I love the shape of the finished item and functionality, especially with the box style arms. Overall a great look for a competitive price.

The most uncomfortable sofaAnonymous reviewerThis is by far the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on. It caused me severe upper back pain, which I’ve never experienced before. The sofa feels poorly built and it’s the worst piece of furniture I’ve owned.

It’s a lovely sofa in a great colour — super comfy, and the quality seems excellent. Not to mention that, together with the footstool, it cost me only half the price I was ready to pay!
Poor quality Anonymous reviewerAfter only a couple of months, the sofa has already lost its shape. While it is comfortable to sit on, it quickly started looking messy and worn out. Very disappointing purchas. I regret buying it.
