Reviews
Perfect inserts every timeAnonymous reviewerWe have several Kallax units around the house with various inserts (clear glass/baskets etc).
We buy the cupboard door inserts every month to spread the cost and every time they fit perfectly and after mastering the fit, are extremely quick and easy to fix in. Very neat and smart.
Long term durability a concern.Anonymous reviewerI have two of these fitted into a unit. The door hinges screw into the thin frame and eventually wear in that the screws become loose and can't be tightened. Poor design !
Excellent product and good quality.Anonymous reviewerGood quality product and cease to adapt
KallaxAnonymous reviewerGreat what we needed it for easy to put up. Had no issues
GreatAnonymous reviewerGreat looks great
So bad!Anonymous reviewerWe have assembled dozens of Ikea items over the years. This one was shockingly bad. The Kallax unit itself is great, but this flimsy little insert is such poor quality. Terrrible hinge that wouldn’t stay on, having to drill holes when there are already many (wrongly placed) holes already pre-drilled, the door wouldn’t line up properly without catching, and the insert would not stay attached to the unit with the tiny screws provided. We took the whole thing back for a refund and started again, just using the Bladdra storage boxes in a Kallax unit. Such a shame, Ikea should make a door that fits the same way as a pax wardrobe door, because it would have looked good if the quality had been up to scratch. Very disappointed.
No issuesAnonymous reviewerPerfect
Kallax cupboardAnonymous reviewerThese little cupboards look good, but I found them a little difficult to assemble and fit into my unit. There isn't a lot of room to get your hand and the screwdriver inside to fit them to the main unit.
Colour looks differentAnonymous reviewerWay more dull looking in person. Really disappointed
TidyAnonymous reviewerExcellent idea, everything put away, any mess instantly hidden
Kallax furniture Anonymous reviewerI love these inserts, they allow you to use the kallax units in many different ways, I did struggle a little with the first one but after that they assembled easily
Doors very trickyAnonymous reviewerDoors are quite tricky to align, after a few weeks they don’t fit flush and we found it hard to get them flush. Even now there don’t fit as we expected
Door insert is a nice addition to the Kallax unit.Anonymous reviewerVery easy to assemble and insert into the Kallax unit. Always fits well. I like that you can use the same colour or vary your style.
Great itemAnonymous reviewerExcellent quality usual
Easy to installAnonymous reviewerVery easy to install and a good quality. Happy with purchase.
Look greatAnonymous reviewerThey turn a normal cube in a unit that looks expensive. Very easy to put together and easy to install into the unit. I ordered 8 of them, took a short amount of time to set them all up. I would certainly recommend them, they look lovely.

Material
What is fibreboard?
Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
