Less than I expect from IKEAAnonymous reviewerI have a 5x5 kallax and bought 3 of these in the past to go in alternate slots on the middle row. Those all worked fine. When I decided to order two more to fill the gaps, the inserts were both ripped and I had to tape back together. In addition to this it was impossible to install next to my existing drawer inserts as the screws hit into eachother. I don't know how others are managing this. I had to drill new guide holes. I love the kallax but this is much poorer than I have come to expect from IKEA.

Draw inserts brokenAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble but 3 out of 4 inserts were broken where you fold the edges back. IKEA replaced these very quickly but 2 out of the 3 replacements had the same problem. I ended up choosing the least damaged and sticking tape on them which you can only see when the draws are open but not sure how this will hold up with use. Shame as I’ve had these previously with no problem. Also paid extra for next day delivery but 2 items didn’t turn up until 2 days later.

The major drawback for me is that CD's do not fit comfortably in the drawer. In order to view the end label with album and artist without removing, they need to be set at an angle as otherwise they are too tall and also could not be stored as two rows.
A real shame as with better design positioning of the runners, allowing a deeper drawer, they would be 100%.
Too shallowAnonymous reviewerLove the idea of drawers but look carefully at pics- the drawers are very shallow so contents spill at back of drawers and then you can't shut them. It would be great if IKEA raised the backs and sides by an inch to make them usable.

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
