Takes up little space since the depth of the desk is 39 cm.
You can mount the shelving unit on the right or left side.
Simple to assemble and ready to use in a flash.
It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.
Hide or display your things by combining open and closed storage.
If you want to divide and adapt the shelving unit to your storage needs, you can complete with KALLAX inserts which are sold separately.
A desk for drawing, studying, reading and doing hobbies that also fits in a small space.

Care
Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.
Safety and compliance
This furniture must be fixed to the wall with the enclosed wall fastener.Maximum evenly distributed weight is 50 kg. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 15 kg on a small surface on the desk.This desk has been tested for domestic use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

Small kallax desk sturdy and flexible optionsAnonymous reviewerSlim desk, matches my other kallax, very sturdy and useful. Unfortunately, this was delivered as a replacement for first Oder that arrived badly damaged. When I opened this one, it too was damaged on the same side but not as badly so decided keep as needed desk urgently. I would recommend collecting this from store so can check box beforehand and not risk a courier delivery. IKEA needs to add extra packaging to protect this when being delivered as obviously a problem.

Partly disappointed Anonymous reviewerI think it's great it fits in with the kallax units, but the finish on the bottom of final end panel ,which is raw and sits on the floor.I would of thought ikea would of provided a piece of felt or trim to protect your flooring and the desk.Also caps to cover the holes that you can see at the front where you sit. For people on the minimum wage it's 4hours wages.

Also bought the drawer inserts, which make it super useful for storing everything away. Only disappointing part is that IKEA have changed the oak colourand so this is a lot lighter than the drawers I already have in the bedroom. Just be aware if adding to a room with furniture in the oak colour used previously. Other than that, very happy with the product.
