They used to be greatAnonymous reviewerI have bought 3 of these every year for the past 5 or 6 years. They look great, and are really easy to look after for about 6 months.
BUT this year I bought 3, looked after the 3 in the same way as I have done for the past years. However this year one of them after watering immediately started showing root rot, and the poor thing has almost died(despite my attempts to dry it out etc)
I realised the difference between this years and previous years is the POT size.
IKEA to cut costs have reduced the size of the pot and soil in the pot. So while they used to be able to take a good watering and be left to dry out, now with the less soil, customers have to be really careful not to over water, otherwise they will get root rot and die.
IKEA should have increased the price by 50p instead of reducing pot size.
One star for IKEA changing what was a great product.
