This plant is sensitive to under watering. This may be the cause if the plant starts to wilt.

Flowering plants bloom between a few days and several months depending on the quality of the care.

Give your plants a boost with fertiliser every month. If you notice that the plant has gone dormant - let it be until next season.

IKEA provides all potted plants with nutrient-rich soil, repotting is not needed until 1 year after purchase.

Remove dust every now and then to allow the plant to get as much light as possible.

They used to be greatAnonymous reviewerI have bought 3 of these every year for the past 5 or 6 years. They look great, and are really easy to look after for about 6 months. BUT this year I bought 3, looked after the 3 in the same way as I have done for the past years. However this year one of them after watering immediately started showing root rot, and the poor thing has almost died(despite my attempts to dry it out etc) I realised the difference between this years and previous years is the POT size. IKEA to cut costs have reduced the size of the pot and soil in the pot. So while they used to be able to take a good watering and be left to dry out, now with the less soil, customers have to be really careful not to over water, otherwise they will get root rot and die. IKEA should have increased the price by 50p instead of reducing pot size. One star for IKEA changing what was a great product.1
