the plug is incredibly fragileAnonymous reviewerI purchased the ISJAKT lamp last August and was initially happy with the dimmable lighting. Unfortunately, the build quality of the power connector is completely unacceptable. Despite only using the lamp rarely and keeping it safely in one spot, the plug simply broke. It is extremely flimsy and snaps far too easily. I am very disappointed to have an unusable lamp after less than a year of very light use. I wouldn’t recommend this until IKEA redesigns the fragile wiring connector.

To improve the design would it be possible to make the reading light more flexible? ( They can only be positioned on the left of the main structure. )However, I have resolved this small problem by turning 2 of the lights around so that the reading light is correctly positioned. That means the controls are now at the back, not ideal but OK.
