Very disappointing Anonymous reviewerOnly bought two weeks ago and they’ve been washed once but started to rust already! Honestly I’ve bought cheaper cutlery from Wilkos but never seen rust on cutlery before. It’s a health hazard as rust can cause illness. I like the weight on them but I wish I’d seen the reviews before buying.
Cutlery SetAnonymous reviewerI brought these a few months ago… they are absolutely gorgeous!! I love them. We have not had a problem with them until last week when I put them in the dishwasher (Which I normally do) and they came out rusty and covered in watermarks that have stained! I’m absolutely gutted. Such a beautiful set and they are completely ruined. I’m so sad. Would recommend otherwise. I don’t know if it was because I put them in the dishwasher or not. But when you pay £29 for them I expected better :(
Went rustyAnonymous reviewerThe same issue as in other 1-star reviews. After 1st or 2nd wash they got spots and rusty patches. Awful quality. This was part of the order delivered from IKEA, and it is too far to go to the store to return one set of cutlery. Do not recommend to anyone.

After one wash with fairy liquid many of the pieces look like weathered antiques. One spoon is essentially black, many others with similar blemishes and even rust. Be warned, It's definitely not stainless steel. I've seen great reviews so my set may be a dud, but not able to locate my receipt so I can't even return this rubbish.
Spoons corrouded from first dayAnonymous reviewerShould have read the reviews here before buying. One of the spoons got little black spot on day 1, eventually all spoons got black spots and the spots developed into huge stain on every corners. Practically have to discarded them. Quality worse than those you got from supermarket at much better price. Those cutlery at budget price from supermarket work fine with no black spot under the same usage and condition. Never been so disappointed.

However 1 month into having them and my spoons are already rusting/eroding. Idk what I did wrong but first I saw a small spot of the back of one spoons and then a week later the inner curvature of another spoon had completely lost its shine.I do have pictures of this but can’t find where to attach them here.

I've tried to contact IKEA, but it seems to be a not so easy task.

What is stainless steel?
Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
