A good designAnonymous reviewerWe bought these for our home in Spain. They are well designed and good quality. Very well priced compared to other brands. However, not yet used.5
Love these! Anonymous reviewerBought these last weekend and love them. Good solid quality and lovely finish. I'll be back to buy another set just so I have double the amount..very impressed and would highly recommend. Grrat price too!!! 5

CutlerAnonymous reviewerDecent set of cutlery with a good IKEA price, what’s not to like!5
Lovely Anonymous reviewerLovely cutlery set and good quality4
Spare cutlery Anonymous reviewerBought as a gift for my son and daughter in law as a spare set of cutlery 5
Cutlery-job done!Anonymous reviewerDoes what it says on the tin. Nice set and washes well5
Very disappointing Anonymous reviewerOnly bought two weeks ago and they’ve been washed once but started to rust already! Honestly I’ve bought cheaper cutlery from Wilkos but never seen rust on cutlery before. It’s a health hazard as rust can cause illness. I like the weight on them but I wish I’d seen the reviews before buying.1
Cutlery SetAnonymous reviewerI brought these a few months ago… they are absolutely gorgeous!! I love them. We have not had a problem with them until last week when I put them in the dishwasher (Which I normally do) and they came out rusty and covered in watermarks that have stained! I’m absolutely gutted. Such a beautiful set and they are completely ruined. I’m so sad. Would recommend otherwise. I don’t know if it was because I put them in the dishwasher or not. But when you pay £29 for them I expected better :(3
Went rustyAnonymous reviewerThe same issue as in other 1-star reviews. After 1st or 2nd wash they got spots and rusty patches. Awful quality. This was part of the order delivered from IKEA, and it is too far to go to the store to return one set of cutlery. Do not recommend to anyone.1
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI bought a 24 piece set ten days ago. The dessert spoons have all tarnished and now have a metallic taste as well as looking unsightly and are black. The other pieces are OK. I couldn’t recommend these items to anyone.1
AVOID. After one wash multiple pieces covered in black marks and rust.Anonymous reviewerBought these as they felt good quality in store. After one wash with fairy liquid many of the pieces look like weathered antiques. One spoon is essentially black, many others with similar blemishes and even rust. Be warned, It's definitely not stainless steel. I've seen great reviews so my set may be a dud, but not able to locate my receipt so I can't even return this rubbish.1
Spoons corrouded from first dayAnonymous reviewerShould have read the reviews here before buying. One of the spoons got little black spot on day 1, eventually all spoons got black spots and the spots developed into huge stain on every corners. Practically have to discarded them. Quality worse than those you got from supermarket at much better price. Those cutlery at budget price from supermarket work fine with no black spot under the same usage and condition. Never been so disappointed.1
Good but spoons got rusted 1month laterAnonymous reviewerI absolutely love this set and it is quite reasonable. However 1 month into having them and my spoons are already rusting/eroding. Idk what I did wrong but first I saw a small spot of the back of one spoons and then a week later the inner curvature of another spoon had completely lost its shine.I do have pictures of this but can’t find where to attach them here.3
Expensive LuxuryAnonymous reviewerYes they're not cheap but the quality is worth it. Look good and feel good in your hand. Fully deserved 5*.5
The spoons rust as soon as they touch waterAnonymous reviewerAll the cutlery is great, except from the table spoons. I washed all the set as soon as I open the package and the table spoons rust where the water touches them. I've tried to contact IKEA, but it seems to be a not so easy task.2

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
