It’s ok’issshAnonymous reviewerGodd4
Tea infuserAnonymous reviewerIt's really good and works well, small but practical.5
usefulAnonymous reviewerI like it5
Tea infuserAnonymous reviewerI enjoy a good strong cuppa, with loose tea. These are great as I don't need to get the teapot out. I fill one side of the basket, then let it close & make my cup of tea. So easy. The IKEA version is much cheaper than others I've seen (& bought) but performs just as well. Will certainly buy more as the need arises5
OsAnonymous reviewerEasy to use5
Handy tea strainerAnonymous reviewerEasy to clean, brews a tasty cuppa.5
Handy and competitive priceAnonymous reviewerVery easy and convenient to use for tea infusion. And the pricing is unbeatable, good to give it a trial. If it can add in some design element like star shape, different colour versions, or use stronger material will be even better.5
DiffuserAnonymous reviewerGood does the job 4
Great little tea diffuserAnonymous reviewerGreat value and really useful. Works perfectly for my various loose teas. Love it!5
Tea alternative Anonymous reviewerStrainer holds loose tea very well and is quite firm, light with not a lot of pressure needed can be a little flimsy when holding, just hold in the right angle and it’s fine, constructed simple with a nice design, handy indeed.5
TeaAnonymous reviewerPerfect way to make tea for one 5
Great for loose leaf teaAnonymous reviewerThis infuser is ideal for my loose leaf teas. Easy to fill and clean and, unlike other infusers I’ve had, it doesn’t come apart in the mug! 5
Tea strainer. Anonymous reviewerIdeal for making a single cup of tea. I bought 2.5

Wonderful InfuserAnonymous reviewerI love this infuser, it is ideal for holding chopped ginger like no silicone infuser can. 5

IDEALISK Tea infuser, stainless steel

A better everyday one cup at a time

Have you had coffee or tea today? Statistically, you most likely have. In fact, these hot brews are the most consumed beverages in the world next after water. They’re a part of life that can give a silver lining to any moment. That’s why we decided to update our selection of products to make that perfect cup – from the tea infuser and the kettle to the milk frother.

Malin Ljungström, who was involved in developing the range, shares her insights. “To many, the smell of coffee and tea means well-being and a homey feeling. Since we want to improve people’s everyday, we’re offering products that make it possible for more to experience more feelgood moments at home.”

Developing things that make a difference

Malin and her colleagues dug deep into coffee and tea cultures to find out what tools people feel they can’t live without. They talked to specialists and investigated living, eating and drinking habits. “We wanted to develop items that make a difference, so we’ve focused on a few, but carefully selected products,” she states. The team cooperated with IKEA Test Lab in Älmhult, Sweden. It’s an IKEA version of a James Bond lab where prototypes are inspected and evaluated. “A couple of the things we checked were that the thermoses can keep fluids really warm for a long time. And that the glass mugs and glass pots are durable and comfortable, even though they look and feel light and airy,” says Malin.

For all tastes and different wallets

No matter how you enjoy your cup, you’ll find the things that put an extra flavour to your drink in the range. Another good thing is that there’s something for all wallets. “It’s one of our contributions to a better life at home. A way to improve people’s everyday one cup at a time,” concludes Malin.

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
